Expository Apologetics
Answering Objections with the Power of the Word
Apologetics is for everyone.
The Bible is clear that all believers are called to defend their faith. However, if apologetics is the formal process that we have come to expect, this sounds like an impossible task. But what if apologetics could be part of natural, normal conversation―both from the pulpit and in everyday life?
Aimed at preparing you to clearly and confidently defend your faith, Expository Apologetics sets forth an approach to apologetics that is rooted in Scripture and eminently accessible. Filled with real-world examples and practical advice, this book will equip you with the tools you need to think biblically and converse persuasively―offering unbelievers “a reason for the hope that is in you."

Voddie Baucham Jr.
Born and raised in Los Angeles, Voddie Baucham Jr. embarked on his educational journey at New Mexico State University transferring later to Rice University in Texas, where he showcased his athleticism as a tight end in football.
Afterward, Baucham pursued his undergraduate studies at Houston Baptist University, earning a B.A. degree. He continued his academic pursuits by obtaining an M.Div. from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary and a D.Min. from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. Baucham's thirst for knowledge led him to further post-graduate studies at the prestigious University of Oxford. In 1993, he founded Voddie Baucham Ministries, marking the beginning of his impactful religious work.
As an African-American Calvinist, Voddie brings a powerful biblical perspective to apologetics, as both his esteemed education and his cultural background uniquely qualify him as a voice for scriptural truth crying out in the wilderness of the declining broader Christian worldview.
Intellectual and yet accessible, Voddie Baucham Jr. is a respected theological voice in the realm of the Reformed tradition and beyond. Voddie currently serves the Body of Christ as Dean of Theology at African Christian University in Lusaka, Zambia.
